It’s almost time for Oktoberfest. I’m talking about the original, in Munich. A question that comes to mind is “Is Oktoberfest suitable for us baby boomers?” I answer that question here, in my latest article.
Nothing screams “Americana” like the traditional boardwalk. There is still a lot of nice weather left in most of the U.S., so there is still time to experience these boardwalks.
When visiting Scandinavian countries, top-notch dining doesn’t immediately come to mind. But if you travel to Copenhagen, you might be pleasantly surprised by the must-try restaurants on this list.

That sounds lovely. We were frequently not too far from there, but the gang wanted to swim soñ we usually ended up swimming at Kitty Hawk. We are sometimes at the opposite end of OBX, at Ocracoke. No boardwalks, but it is a sentimental favorite. The walk along the waterfront in Beaufort (NC) is short but alo nice.
